In this document: “Us”, “Our,” and “We” means Salimetrics, LLC and its affiliates, and “You” and “Your” means you, the user.
This Privacy Policy will tell you what information we collect about you and about your use of OnTimePoint™ (“OTP”) and its services. It will explain the choices you have about how your personal information is used and how we protect that information. You should read this Privacy Policy carefully.
This Privacy Policy applies to the App on any and all platforms and all associated websites owned and/or maintained by us. This policy does not apply to researchers, third parties, or to people that Salimetrics does not employ, that may be designing this study.
Salimetrics takes your privacy seriously and has designed this system to gather the minimum amount of information required for you to participate in using OnTimePoint™ for this study. In general, this only includes a participant ID, issued to you by the study designer. Your identity will not be shared through the OnTimePoint™ System, unless appended by a third party.
Additionally, the OnTimePoint™ software utilizes information supplied by and through Fitbit® hardware and software. You and your use of such hardware and software, independently of and together with, your use of OnTimePoint™ is also governed by the Fitbit® privacy policy which can be found at: https://www.fitbit.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Personal Information
The OnTimePoint™ system has been designed to avoid collection of any personally identifiable information and does not include records of your name, address, email, or phone number. Therefore, any personally identifiable information that is requested during the use of OnTimePoint™ has been initiated at the request of the study designer and shall not fall under the responsibility of Salimetrics. If personal information is requested, but you do not wish to include such information in OnTimePoint™, please contact your study coordinator immediately for alternative options.
Other information, such as sleep/wake time, answers to questionnaires, sample collection timing, and FitBit sleep/wake data is transmitted through the OnTimePoint™ app to the researcher to maintain accuracy of the data provided by the participants.
Cookies & Other Technologies
In order to provide you with a personalized experience, the OnTimePoint™ Saliva Collection Management System may set and access cookies on your mobile devices. This may include access to device identifiers such as IP address, browser version, OS type and version, and device provided identifiers. Some of these identifiers may be utilized internally to improve access to the OnTimePoint™ system. Once you log into OnTimePoint™, we may recognize your device, independent of your device settings to maintain ease of access for your desired settings.
Use of Information
OnTimePoint™ will gather participant entered data, such as sleep/ wake-time data and utilize your mobile camera to scan sample labels and designate sample collection timing. OnTimePoint™ can also gather FitBit sleep/wake time data when requested by the study designer to provide accurate study data. We do not supervise researcher use of the data in any way, and any questions regarding such use should be raised with your researcher. The OnTimePoint™ Saliva Collection Management System only operates as a conduit of your information to your researcher. We do not retain or manipulate information in any way.
Any collected study information will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third party, except to comply with legal requirements, and will be retained within the OnTimePoint™ Saliva Collection Management System database for a period of (187) days after the study is completed.
In order to provide, test, and help maintain the OnTimePoint™ Saliva Collection Management System, You acknowledge that Salimetrics may collect, use, store, transmit, process and/or analyze diagnostic, technical, and/or usage logs and information from users. This information will be collected in a form that does not personally identify You. You acknowledge and agree that Salimetrics, its agents and subsidiaries have your permission to collect such information and use it for the purposes stated herein.

Changes to Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy and any changes will be effective upon being posted unless we advise otherwise. If we make any material changes to this policy we will notify you through the OnTimePoint™ interface. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy for the latest information on our privacy practices. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, we ask that you do not register with us and/or use OnTimePoint™.
